The Design Team
This team is made up of undergraduate, Engineering seniors from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa who are currently taking the ME 481/482 Senior Design course. As the capstone course of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum, this team will experience the engineering process from conception and design all the way to manufacturing and testing. They will have to use all the knowledge learned in their classes, as well as from outside research, to successfully deliver on their mission.
The VIP Members
Vertically Integrated Project (VIP) teams are made up of a faculty adviser, graduate student researchers, and undergraduate students from freshmen to seniors. This gives the senior members the ability to mentor the junior members on how to research and develop a project. This program also allows for specialists in other disciplines to lend their expertise to this project.
