EDUARDO ZABANAL JR.

Project Manager

Eduardo has be chosen as Team SubTAVS Project Manager due to his exemplary leadership and team management skills. He will work closely with the Systems Integrator and Financial Manager to ensure this project runs smoothly and efficiently.

ANA ALVAREZ HUERTA

Systems Integrator

Ana is an international student from Spain studying mechanical engineering at UH Manoa. Her strongest engineering skills are data analysis and mechanical machinery parts manufacturing. This project is her opportunity to apply her skills to solve a real-world problem and to learn new skills along the way.

MICAH TUALAUELEI

Financial Manager

Micah has been chosen as Team SubTAVS Financial Manager due to his previous experience in the ME 213 course. He currently lives in Ewa Beach, HI. He works as a tutor in the Learning Emporium at UHM. He enjoys binge watching TV shows on streaming services, playing video games and hanging out with friends. His goal is to make a real difference with the finished product of this project - as it will potentially be used in the disaster preparedness program at UHM and may one day help save lives.

LAWRENCE HARRIS

Computer Programming Lead

Lawrence grew up on the island of Maui in Hawaii. He enjoys playing video games, card games, and learning about new technologies. He hopes to gain a deeper understanding of robotics to take with him to the workforce.

WILLIAM NAKAMURA

Structure Lead

Billy was born and raised on the island of Oahu. Some of the things he enjoys doing are working out, working on his car, and spending time with friends.

DYSON SATO

Electrical Lead

Dyson is finishing up his last year at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in the Mechanical Engineering program. Using his prior electronics experience, he has volunteered to take on the role of Electrical Lead for this project. He is looking forward to working with all members of this team to successfully complete the project.

AUSTIN YOSHINO

Mechanical Lead

Austin Evan Yoshino is a senior engineering student and entrepreneur. He prides himself in having a wide knowledge base and in his ability to be a quick-learner. When he is not studying or working on his start-up he enjoys photography and the outdoors.
